What am I doing?

So now that you have clearly known that I am Christian, let me tell you what Christians do.

Oh. Do not get me wrong. Being a Christian is not a profession, okay?
It is neither a religion. People think that there is some kind of a formula and some methods and principles to being right with God.

Sorry to disappoint you but there is none of that.
Oh! But there is the Bible! That's the only guide you need which you can perfectly understand with the help of our very patient Teacher Holy Spirit by studying it and rightly dividing the word of truth. 

So, we Christians once we are converted, meaning, once we realize what the gospel is, we are TRANSFORMED into a new being. A NEW CREATION.

Yes! All of us, being the born once again, not of flesh but of God, are given a new heart and a new spirit. From being spiritually dead, we are given a new life. And this new life is unlike the first one wherein we were subject to death, because we are given ETERNAL LIFE.

So, because I am not the OLD CELINA anymore, what does the NEW CELINA, wants now?

I want God. I want to know more about God. I want to see God. I want to make God happy. I want to glorify God. I want to talk about God. I want to think about God. I want to love God more. I want to live with God. I want to hear God's audible voice. I want to see God's glory. I want to hear God laugh. I want to hear Him sing…. Etc… etc…


Well, I think you get the picture. I am in love with God.
And when you love someone, you try your best to show them your love.

But The God that I serve and love, who is also my Father, gave us some points towards that too. He knew we needed instruction. We are babies, remember?
 

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
 

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
So because I love Him, I keep His commandments. And He has commanded us to preach that which we have heard, even that which we testify: THE GOSPEL.

 

Matthew 28

18        And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19        Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20        Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mark 16:15        And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
 

Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

And that is what I am here for. To preach the good tidings and to know the God that saved me. :)

 

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

For to be able to have the knowledge of the being of God, one must have eternal life because He is eternal and His attributes are infinite,  that a human lifetime is obviously not enough.

I'm gonna be living with God all the days of my life!

 

Psalms 27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

Psalms 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
